Becky's weight loss story
My Cinch Story – A Work in Progress (By Becky Harper):
When I turned 50, I celebrated by going on a Mexican cruise.
As I looked at
the photos upon returning home, I realized for the first time how much weight I
had gained over the years.
(Although I knew I was overweight, I had not realized
how obese I had become.) Years of living a lifestyle that included
sitting at a desk
all day, no exercise, not eating breakfast, and eating more at fast food restaurants
than at home had resulted
in a gradual but significant weight gain until I weighed
255 pounds.
I started my weight loss in May 2010 –by making healthier food choices,
getting up early and walking a mile or more every day and by drinking at least 8
glasses
of water a day. By November 2010 I had lost 25 pounds and hit a plateau.
Over the holidays I tried to keep to my “diet”,
but by February 2011 I had gained
back ten of my hard lost pounds and was discouraged, to say the least.
In May 2011
I was introduced to Shaklee and the Cinch Weight Loss Plan.
Since that time I have lost 50 pounds and 42 inches. I have
enjoyed getting my
figure back, even though many of my clothes no longer fit. With my weight loss I
have more energy
and have resumed walking and look forward to swimming and
bicycling this summer. I still have 40 more pounds to go, but
I have confidence
that with the help of the Shaklee Cinch Plan I will be able to get there.
I was introduced to Cinch by
a Shaklee distributor I was dating. I guess it
really works, since we were married on March 31, 2012.
